Moriarty (as many knew him at GCC) worked in advertising for Saatchi & Saatchi, played cricket for MCC, Finchley, Highgate Taverners, Stoics and many other sides. He was a longstanding member of the MCC and the first President of the reformed Grantchester CC.
A charming and amusing companion and a good friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

A great man. I knew him in 1991-92, when I was renting a room in his house in Northern Finchley.
