Dear Fellow Weavers of the Willow, Cobblers of the Leather, A June May Day or M’aidez Call. Clare Hall, a truly international cricket club composed of as many newcomers to the game as old timers, has been bumped off its pitch on Monday evening – due to play a combined team of divines and librarians – by the Great and Not-so-Good. I suppose there is no chance we could borrow – that is to say – hire your splendid ground for the evening?
