The wheels government have been in full production over the Winter and I am pleased to announce that we have an excellent Tour arranged for 2019.
On the weekend of 14-16 June, Grantchester Cricket Club will grace the fields of North Norfolk for a two match Tour.
On Sunday 16th we play Castle Rising CC.
Accommodation will be in Fakenham at the salubrious Wensum Lodge. Situated in the centre of town, my sources tell me there will be more than enough to satisfy all tastes within walking distance. We have provisionally booked 7 twins (£99 per room per night) and 5 doubles (£79 per night sole). Bed and Breakfast included.
Given the work that has gone in to this I ask just one small bit of effort from you at this early stage.
Please advise your interest in touring this year, which nights (Fri/Sat/Sun) and what type of accommodation you would prefer. Simply respond to Steve Wilson and myself.
Last year’s Tour to Swanage was excellent fun, albeit a long way for a single Sunday game. This year we are merely 1.5 hours from Cambridge and have two attractive and competitive games with mouthwatering entertainment facilities lying in wait.
What can possibly go wrong?
Well, something that did go wrong was the date planned for the ‘Evening with Blowers’. However all is now well and the event has been rescheduled for Friday, June 21st at the same location, the Cambridge Rugby Club on Grantchester Road. Same format as previously announced and the return of the Table for 10 special for the month of March. More details HERE
